| Purpose |

- to encourage the Slovenian companies, institutes and other legal persons as well as the authorities, to introduce systems for advanced, effective and total quality achievement, and to plan and implement advanced business processes in order to ensure competence to their products and services;
- selecting the role models and the best Slovenian organisations according to a number of criteria, following the example of the European Quality Award;
- to offer to the Slovenian managers a tool for continual improvement of the quality of their products, services and business performance;
- to help in this way the Slovenian economy to reach global competitiveness.
