The applicants will be invoiced for the costs of assaying and hallmarking precious metal articles in accordance with the "Decree on the costs of assaying and hallmarking precious metal articles (RS Official Gazette, No. 127/06).

A supplier who ensures conformity of products to regulations himself, shall pay the costs of surveillance, the amount of which depends on the demonstrated yearly production or import of articles.

A supplier being at the same time manufacturer and importer shall pay a yearly cost of surveillance for that activity which is prevailing and the cost of 62,59 EUR for additional examination of the articles and technical documentation, for that activity which is not prevailing.
* Possibility of independent assaying by the touch-stone method. For surveillance examination, the already marked products are sampled for assaying by the quantitative chemical analysis by MIRS.
Surveillance should be conducted at least once a year, and it shall include: verification of the product quality assurance system against regulations; checking of technical documentation and conformity of the articles against the data given in the technical documentation.
The supplier shall pay the cost of repeated or extraordinary surveillance referred to in paragraph one of this Article, when carried out in the same calendar year, at the amount of 125,19 EUR.
